Music Ally has launched Artist Ally, a new online initiative designed to help artists and music creatives build more sustainable careers.
The platform launches with the Artist Ally Summit, a free five-day online event taking place from 27 April to 1 May 2026. Open to music creators worldwide, the summit will bring together artists, songwriters, producers and industry experts for practical sessions on navigating today’s music business.
The programme will explore five core areas across the week: creativity, marketing and fanbase development, career growth and monetisation, changemaking, and live and touring. Topics will range from music creation, collaboration and AI tools to audience growth, direct-to-fan models, mental health, diversity, artist grants and grassroots live opportunities.
Featured contributors will include artists such as K Camp and LaRussell, alongside songwriter RuthAnne, whose credits include work with JoJo, Britney Spears, One Direction, Bebe Rexha and Martin Garrix. Producers, artist managers and industry executives will also take part in sessions, workshops, panels and interviews across the week.
Industry partners supporting the summit with speakers and educational materials include Spotify for Artists, TikTok, Amazon Music, Meta, EVEN, Amuse, Audiomack, Linktree, Sound Royalties and Groover. Organisations including the FAC, Roland, Dolby, Berklee, AFEM, Women in CTRL and CIIFA are also supporting the wider project’s focus on diversity and inclusivity.
Beyond the summit itself, Artist Ally will continue as a free support ecosystem for independent creators, offering advice, interviews and resources across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Substack. The wider programme will also include Artist Ally Surgeries, live expert-led problem-solving sessions, and the Artist Ally Accelerator, which will offer mentorship and support for selected artists.
Attendees will also receive the Artist Ally Pack, bringing together exclusive discounts and educational resources, while the initiative will introduce an Artist Ally Emerging Artist Award to recognise independent excellence.
Paul Brindley, CEO of Music Ally, said: “Artists today are expected to be creators, entrepreneurs, marketers and technologists all at once. Artist Ally exists to break down what actually works, what doesn’t, and how artists can make smarter decisions in a fast-changing global industry.”
He added: “It’s not just a one-off event. It’s the foundation of an ongoing, global support platform designed to champion independent artists and spotlight underrepresented voices.”
Marlen Huellbrock, Music Ally’s director of marketing and strategy, said Artist Ally was created to give music creators “the kind of independent, practical support we wish had existed years ago”.
She added: “The industry has never been more complex, and artists deserve clear, unbiased guidance that helps them build sustainable careers on their own terms.”
More speakers and the full conference schedule are set to be announced soon. Music creators can register now via the Artist Ally website.
