AIM Ireland, IMRO, and RAAP are joining forces for Making the Connection, a new series of free evening networking events taking place this spring in Galway, Cork, Limerick and Belfast. The series is designed to bring music industry professionals together in a relaxed setting, creating space for artists, managers, labels, publishers and other music businesses to meet, build relationships and strengthen connections across the sector.
As AIM Ireland continues to build a stronger presence across the island, Making the Connection reflects a wider commitment to making industry engagement more accessible in different regions and creating more opportunities for connection beyond Dublin. The aim is to support a more connected, visible and inclusive independent music community, with meaningful opportunities for people working across different parts of the industry to meet and engage.
Each event will feature contributions from AIM Ireland, IMRO and RAAP on their work in supporting and developing the Irish music industry, alongside a special guest speaker or performer to be announced ahead of each date. All events are free to attend and run from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.
The full run of dates is:
- Galway, Roisin Dubh — 29 April
- Cork, The Savoy — 6 May
- Limerick, The Commercial — 13 May
- Belfast, Oh Yeah Centre — 20 May
If you work in the music industry, you are warmly invited to attend the date that suits you and join us for an evening of conversation, connection and community.
