AIM UK has announced the return of Future Independents 2026, its free online conference for emerging independent artists, labels and entrepreneurs.

Taking place online from Monday 18 May to Friday 22 May, this year’s conference has been designed as a week-long series of flexible learning sessions, with two sessions running each day at 12pm and 2pm.

The 2026 programme includes sessions on artist branding, paid marketing, album campaign strategy, budgeting, media focus, touring Europe post-Brexit, distribution and funding. AIM UK says the event is aimed at anyone looking to grow their business, develop their career or build their knowledge of the music industry.

Future Independents is free to attend, and participants can sign up for the individual sessions that best fit their interests and schedule. Please note that each session requires a separate ticket.

Readers can find out more and view the full programme via the supplied Future Independents website and programming page.
