MANAGEMENT

Within our management break out session at Ireland Music Week, much of the input and feedback was around funding. Consensus being that artist managers would find it useful if AIM as a longterm goal could provide advice and guidance for managers on this subject. Whilst each individual funding body offers support, FAQs, online sessions, we acknowledge the need for a 'fact sheet on funding' for AIM members. This will be a goal for us within year 1 of AIM. Furthermore, the management sector also recognised the need for more solid data and figures around the independent Irish music industry. This will help us lobby at a local and European level. The management sector reps intend to work with other sector reps to collate this data.
